NATIONAL SEMINAR ON EMERGING TRENDS IN PURE AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS

National Seminar On Emerging Trends in Pure And Applied Mathematics was held on February 24, 2017. The programme started with a welcome address by Prof. Dr K. Srinivasa Rao, Convener of the programme, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics. Prof. Dr.G.Srinivasu, Registrar delivered presidential address, Prof. Dr S. Balaji, Dean, Faculty of Science delivered felicitation address. Dr R. Malathi and Dr.E.Geetha, organizing secretaries of the programme introduced the chief guests of the day.

The program was comprised of lectures in Nano Topological Health Diagnosis Models by Prof. Dr.M.Lellies Thivagar, Professor and Head School of Mathematics, Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai and Infinite and Fibonacci Series by Prof. Dr.G.Britto Antony Xavier, Associate Professor, P.G. and Research Department of Mathematics, Sacred Heart College, Thirupattur, Vellore District.

This programme is mainly organised for creating interest among the students UG final year and PG first and second-year students. Along with our students, about 100 students participated in the programme and benefitted from the lectures.

Prof. Dr K. Srinivasa Rao, Convener of the Programme, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics distributed the certificates to the participants. This program came to an end in a grand manner with the vote of thanks proposed by Ms K. Indhumathi, I-M.Sc., (Mathematics).
